About FinKit
FinKit is a personal finance platform built for Hong Kong — our mission is to help every Hongkonger build wealth with the right tools.
We believe personal finance shouldn't be a privilege. Whether you're a fresh graduate, a first-time homebuyer, or planning for retirement, you deserve access to accurate, easy-to-use tools to plan your financial future.
Most personal finance content is text-heavy and lacks interactivity — you might read a long article and still not know how much you need to save or borrow. FinKit turns complex financial calculations into simple interactive tools, backed by in-depth guides that show you the numbers, not just the theory.
Editor-in-Chief: Gary Chung
FinKit is run by Gary Chung. Gary founded FinKit to turn complex Hong Kong financial calculations into free, easy-to-use tools, and personally oversees the site’s educational articles and market data, keeping content practical, accurate and grounded in Hong Kong’s actual market environment. All articles and tool data are based on official announcements and verifiable public sources.
Editorial Policy
All FinKit content is overseen by editor-in-chief Gary Chung under the following policy:
